Beautiful Memo Board

I have always loved to print out and hang photos of family and friends, but traditionally a lot of those photos end up on the refrigerator or on a bulletin board.  I have had photos ruined because they fell off the refrigerator or from the pin holes that they end up getting when put on a bulletin board.

Introducing a better way!

The Embellish your Story by Roeda from Demdaco magnetic memo board.

First off, I love that it is called Embellish Your Story . . . if you know me you know I love to embellish thing.  Just like the packaging says, first you select your base . . . memo board, frame . . . it is your choice.  Next, choose your words.  They have several words and phrases that will help you tell your story.  Last, embellish!  This is the really fun part.  They have SO MANY different options of magnets with fun themes so you can change them out through the year if you want.

They even have a whole line of memo boards for every state.  This would be a great wedding gift idea for a couple that are from two different states . . . then they can hang the memo boards of their states side by side.

This felt more like doing a scrapbook layout than using a traditional bulletin board, and it looks so pretty you want to display where everyone can see it.

I started out with the black polka dot scalloped square base. Here is how my magnetic board ended up looking.

I used a piece of cardstock and 2 of the daisy magnets in the corners.  Then for the butterfly magnets I decided to add a little bit of embellishment to my embellishments . . .

I cut some of the rhinestone sticker sheets from The Buckle Boutique with my Westcott non-stick scissors to add some sparkle to the body of the butterfly.  Since the rhinestone sticker sheets from The Buckle Boutique already have adhesive on the back, once I cut the shape I just had to peel off the backing and stick it onto the butterfly.

When I saw this product line, THIS was the piece I KNEW I had to have!  Those of you that know me know I am a huge Disney fan, so something that says Happily Ever After is a must have in my house.  I cannot wait to print out some photos from one of our trips to Disney and put them on this board.  As you can see, I even added some bling to the words.

And more bling on the other butterfly.

Now I have a memo board that looks great!  And I can easily change the photos out and use different magnets for each theme.  They have graduation themed magnets . . . this would be a great way to display some photos at a graduation open house.
