When my family attended the Craft and Hobby Association Create n' Connect event in Las Vegas this past summer my daughter noticed the Magic Marble booth. The amazing swirling colors on all of the different things they dipped into this swirling product were amazing.
Once we watch the demonstration and took a video of it, which you can watch here, we were hooked! We had to have some Magic Marble to play with at home!
Well, this weekend we FINALLY had time to play with this product, and I have several different things that I want to share with you, so over the next few weeks I am going to try and share one project by Magic Marble a week . . . so I decided to call it Magic Marble Monday!
For our very first project we decided to do we had a plain brown chipboard clipboard and we used the yellow, green and white Magic Marble. My daughter's friend that was doing this with us loves her clipboards, and she is a Green Bay Packer's fan so that is how we came up with the color combination.
Being that this was our FIRST project we tried, I were still experimenting with how much paint to use and what colors would work best together. I also don't think I put enough paint into the water as I should have. The bottom half of the clipboard swirled nice, but the top half did not have much paint on it, so we just waited for the bottom to try enough to hold on to it and dipped the top half again.
LOOK at how great the paints swirl around! The girls actually commented on how the colors seemed to swirl themselves as I was dropping them into the bucket.
