4th of July

Since I have gotten so many complements on the Memorial Scrapbooks that I did a while back for two girls who lost their father to cancer, I thought I would share another page from one of those books.

It was pretty simple . . . I  just found a variety of papers with red, white and blue on them, and started cutting stars our in various sizes.  Once I had a LOT of stars, I just started layering them and scattering them around the page.  I ended up with extra stars, but I just put them all in a plastic baggie to save for future use.  I added a sticker border of red, white and blue frozen treats to the side.  Ironically, when the mother of this family saw this layout she was so happy to see those frozen treats on there . . . I guess they are a family favorite.
