New Cricut Maker Machine

Cricut just announced some new products today, and I have gathered the information that I found here.

The first machine that they talked about is the Cricut Easy Press.  This machine will be released in August and will retail for around $150.  This will allow you to get a more even amount of heat and pressure on your iron on projects.

The second machine is the new Cricut Maker

This machine will have a rotary blade that is perfect for cutting fabrics. Put a pen into the adapter and you can cut and mark your patterns all with the Cricut. There will be patterns available in Design Space from some major players in the sewing and quilting world.  In the video, they showed how they could cut and mark all of these pieces with the Cricut Maker in about 15 minutes!

 The Cricut Maker will be available August 20th for around $400. There will also be a knife blade sold separately (no price mentioned) but this knife will be able to cut MUCH thicker materials like wood! Here are just a few projects you could create with the Cricut Maker and the knife blade.
