I decided to make some cute Christmas tags for the gifts we are giving to our nieces and nephews. I posts some other tags yesterday . . . click HERE to see that post. I think I was inspired by the deer tag that I made for my daughter the other day. If you did not see that post, you can click HERE to check it out. Also, I am trying to challenge myself to use my stamps more, and these little tags seemed like the perfect way to do that.
I also wanted to challenge myself to use papers I already had in my craft room. Who says you have to run out and buy new Christmas themed paper for a holiday craft! Why not use what you have!
I cut the polka dot tag from the Plantin' Schoolbook Cricut cartridge at 4 1/2".
Then I cut 3 white circles at 2 1/2", and stamped a critter from the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Snow stamp set on to each circle.
I wanted a little something extra on the circles once I stamped and colored in the cut little critters, so I stamped a stitched border on the circle also. It helped to fill some of the white space and give it a more finished look.
I cut a circle at 3" from a green journal print paper from Bo Bunny. The green was a perfect match to the green on the polka dot paper.
All that is left to add is the name of who the gift is being given to. I might add the names to the back with some letter stickers I have . . . otherwise I can simply write on the backs.
