I even keep the scraps of strips that I trim off of pages . . . you know, the stuff you had to trim to make things fit just right.
Here is one of those piles of scrap strips of paper.
I decided to make a card JUST using these strips . . . no new cuts. I used a plain kraft paper card base, and then I just grabbed some random strips in similar colors. I started to adhere them to the card at an angle, and then just added the next strip so that it lined up with the one before it. I even added some strips of rhinestone sticker sheets from The Buckle Boutique
Once I had all of the strips on the card, I just trimmed them off at the edge of the card. Then I used a stamp that looked like stitches in a circle, and stamped a few of those in red. Adding some dots of Viva Decor added some dimension to the card. The final step was stamping a sentiment on to the card.
Love how the card turned out! I keep WAY too many scraps.

What a great idea to use up scraps! I have a lot of scraps, too. I seem to save all sizes. I'm hoping to start making entire layouts just using scraps. TFS! (BL)
