From the first moment that I saw the iCraft Deco Foil product I knew it would be perfect for a project like this!  The shimmer and glass like quality of the look you get when you use this foil is amazing and it reminds me of the classic Christmas tree ornaments and lights.

It was so easy to create.  Let me show you how I did this.  First, I cut three Christmas light bulb shapes from my Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge from the iCraft Deco Foil Toner Sheets.  These sheets are the best!  Foil sticks to toner when you run it through a laminator, so these sheets will allow you to cut any shape you would like with your Cricut and then add foil to it.  There is an adhesive on the back of these sheets, so once you have the shape cut and foiled, you just peel off the backing and stick it to your project.

When I cut the toner sheets on my Cricut, I did use a multi cut of 2, since I wanted to be sure that I cut through the toner sheet and the adhesive backing.

I placed the the three Christmas light shapes inside a a piece of parchment paper, and then placed a small piece of iCraft Deco Foil over the top of each one.

Then I ran it through the laminator.

Then peel away the larger portion of the foil and look at what you end up with!

Then I cut some gray textured cardstock for the tops of the bulbs.

For the card, I decided to layer a piece of cream colored paper that I embossed with folder from Richard Garay's Lumberjack Days collection.  I love this embossing folder.  It looks like a warm winter sweater or blanket.

I cut the phrase Warmth and Joy from my Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.  I used some brown ink to go around the edges of this cut to give it a little more depth.

Then, when you put all of the pieces together you end up with this BEAUTIFUL card!
