One of the things I love about having a crafting blog is that it allows me to share my projects with so many people. Before the world of blogging, friends and family knew I crafted and would experience my creations first hand, but having a crafting blog has allowed me to inspire people and connect with other crafters who enjoy the same things I do.
But how do you get people to see the projects you make? Yes, you can post them to your blog . . . but people need to be able to find that post. Places like Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram are great places to share your crafting projects but you are still only going to reach the people who have liked or followed your account.
I have recently increased the number of people who see my projects by partnering with sites such as FaveCrafts.com The picture below is just a small sample of the variety of projects of mine that are on FaveCrafts.com
If you would like to see all of my projects that have been featured on FaveCrafts.com you can click HERE. I have to tell you, it is so much fun to open their newsletter or check out their Facebook page and see one of MY PROJECTS featured.
If you are a crafting blogger, having your project on this site will help to increase the traffic you see to your blog. It can also open up additional opportunities for promotion and partnership. For example, one of my projects is currently listed as one of the 10 Best Father's Day Craft Ideas on FaveCrafts.com and you can vote for my project by clicking HERE and then scrolling down to the bottom and leaving a comment . . . my project is #3, the Mr. Incredible Father's Day card. Not only could I win from your vote, but YOU could win a coloring book and gel pens!
If you would like to have your projects featured on FaveCrafts.com it is so easy to do! You will see a Submit Your Project button on FaveCrafts.com
Once you click on the Submit Your Project just fill out the information about your project, upload a photo and include a link to the blog post that has the full tutorial on that project. If your project is added to FaveCrafts.com you will get an email notifying you that the project has been added. When there is a specific crafting trend or type of project that FaveCrafts.com is looking for they will list that information on the Submit Your Project page. This has helped me a lot . . . sometimes I see something listed there and think "I did a project like that earlier this year" . . . and linking to some of those older posts helps to bring new life to those projects.
Make sure to connect with FaveCrafts on social media, like Facebook . . . tell them Shawn Mosch sent you!
