Cricut's NEW Universel Overlay

If you own a Cricut, you may have heard the buzz recently about the new Universal Overlay.  If you have not heard about it, let me fill you in.  As of August 2013, when you purchase a Cricut cartridge there will no longer be an overlay for the keypad included in the package.  For all of your NEW Cricut cartidges you will need the new Universal Overlay

You will be able to use this same overlay for ALL CARTRIDGES.  Instead of straining to see what the image is on each button, you will look at the button number on the keypad.  Image number 1 is the image on the first page of the handbook.

Ironically, at MyCutSearch.com we have been using the SAME NUMBERING SYSTEM for the past 2 years in the information that we list for each handbook page on our site.  Let me show you . . .

When we started to add keypad button numbers to our image information, I simply numbered each image button on the keypad

Then I added that information to each handbook image in the description

So I am not sure if I should thank ProvoCraft for following the same system we have been using for over 2 years now on MyCutSearch.com, or tell them you are welcome for setting up the system!

So, how do you get your hands on one of these new Universal Overlays?

Well, I reached out to my friend Terri at Stamps Alive and verified that she DOES have the
