Welcome to the I Love Snow Blog Hop!
This hop is being organized by Lisa from http://honeybearzdesigns2011.blogspot.com/
If you just happened to show up at my blog,
make sure to go to Lisa's site to start the hop from the beginning.
The funny thing about the fact that I am in this hop is that I am normally the person that says that I hate snow! I hate driving in it, and all of the hassles that come with it. I do love the look of the snow in the trees after a fresh snowfall. Since I live in Minnesota, snow is something I have to deal with a lot.
When I was getting ready to make my project for this blog hop, there actually was not any snow on the ground here in Minnesota! Then, the weekend that I made and hung up this project we got a
HUGE SNOW STORM!!!
So my husband says that I brought it on with my project.
I used adhesive backed material for this project. I like working with adhesive backed fabric better than a traditional vinyl. I used some of the new Holiday Colors for this project.
I cut the Let It Snow phrase from my Celebrate with Flourish Cricut cartridge and layered the colors on top of each other. Then I used some Viva Decor Pearl Pens to make little dots in a variety of colors along the flourish lines. Below you can see a close up of one of the flourishes.
The best part is that when winter is done I can take this down and place it on a sheet of waxed paper and pack it away with my other holiday decorations and save it again for next year! Since I used adhesive backed fabric, it is removable and will not damage the wall!
Fabulous!!! I've never tried square 1, but I need to go find some because I always end up throwing my wall art away because it rips when I take it down!!! TFS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLet it snow, but only when i don't need to go someplace and i can stay where it's warm and cozy. Love your wall art. Thanks for sharing. that Square 1 sounds great.

HI Shawn - that is a great decor for the wall - I live in the cold state of Michigan - we have not had any real snow - a few flakes - and you can keep it all up there - LOL - except I would like it to snow at Christmas eve and Christmas day - enjoy your week - Merry Christmas - thanks for being part of the hop.
