Here is a great way to keep the your faux stitching even on a project, and make use of those pieces of plastic canvas you might have laying around the craft room (come on, admit it, you used to make plastic canvas projects)
First off, isn't this notecard box Ellen made so cute! If you have ever done the faux stitching look on a project, you know that it can be hard to keep it looking consistent. So how did Ellen do it?
Plastic canvas!
If you place the plastic canvas on top of your project and use it as a guide as shown above, you can keep your stitches looking even all the way around the project. The plastic canvas is sold in sheets and in a variety of shapes like circles, hearts and stars so you can find the right lines and curves for your project.
Thanks Ellen for the great tip! I cannot wait to try this out for myself!

What a great tip! It is one of those tips that you think, why didn't I think of that! But of course I didn't so thank you again!
