I used my Cricut Sports Mania Cartridge to create these cute pins for my daughter's hockey team. I made one for each one of the parents.
Since the team colors are red, white and blue, I cut 2" squares from the blue, and then the hockey skate cut from the red and layered them on top of each other. Once those tried, I attached them to a 2" square of chipboard to give the pins a better backing and more strength.
I wrote the girl's numbers on the pins with a white paint pen, and once that was dry I applied Mod Podge glue across the top of the entire pin to seal everything.
Last step . . . glue the pin backs onto the back of the chipboard.
The parents really seemed to enjoy these, and a few of the Dad's have pinned them onto their hockey hats. It is a cute way for us to show our support for our girls while we are sitting in the stands.
Boy, I bet everyone loves having you "on their team" so to speak, the great garment bags, and now these. So what else have you done, or are you going to do for the team?
