Mother's Day Card

My mother taught me how to sew, and when I saw the sentiment on this stamp I knew it would be perfect for a card for her.  The stamp is from Two Lips.   FYI . . . I purchased the stamp from Terri at Stamps Alive.  Tell her Shawn sent you if you want to purchase one also.

I backed the piece that has the sentiment on it with a piece of Smart Fab that I cut on my Cricut.  If you want to see the post that shows all of the details about die cutting Smart Fab, click HERE.  I think that using fabric instead of another piece of cardstock added some nice texture to this card and it also ties into the sewing theme of the sentiment.

I added a few buttons from Buttons Galore to the side of the card for an embellishment.  This tied in nicely with the dots on the background of the card also.
