Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Program ~ Taking a Tour of Marketing Materials

The Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Program is no longer active, however I will be leaving this information posted for a record of how an Affiliate Marketing Program works.

I have gotten such great feedback on my recent post about the new Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Program, that I knew I had to share even more about this program with you.

Get Scrabooking, Cricut, Craft Project Ideas and More at Above Rubies Studio!
First step is to get started.  Sign up for the Above Rubies Affiliate Program.  Since we have already talked about that, we have that step done.  If you happened to miss that post you can click HERE for all of the details.

Once you have signed up you need to start promoting the program and the products at Above Rubies Studio store.  The sales you generate will depend on how much promoting you want to do.  When you log into your account you will see a screen that looks like this.

I know . . . the screen shot is small . . . I will blow up the sections as we talk about them.

The first section you will see in the upper left corner is the basic summary of how many transactions you have generated, your generated commissions, the commissions you have earned off of people who have signed up under you and then your Grand Total earnings to date.

So you can see in the short time that I have been signed up with this program I have already generated 8 sales, for a total of $37.50 commission, and someone that signed up under me has generated some sales and I am getting $0.41 commission on THEIR sales, for a total of $37.91

That's great Shawn, but how do I generate those kinds of sales?

I am getting there . . . first I wanted to show you around a little.
The next section that you will notice in your Above Rubies Affiliate Program account is the section called Training Materials, which I am going to skip over right now, but below that is the Marketing Materials Section.

This is the stuff you need to get going.  If you have a blog, you probably know how to add buttons and widgets to your site.  You need a HTML code.  If you don't know how to do this, I found a quick tutorial on it HERE but if it is still not clear let me know and I can help you out.

Each one of these Marketing Materials sections contains the HTML code you need to place buttons, banners, text ads and link on your site, blog, Facebook or in emails.  All of these will have YOUR unique Above Rubies Studio Affiliate ID within them, so that they know that YOU referred the sale and YOU will get the commission.

Here are some examples of the buttons and ads that you have to choose from . . .

But it is not just about just about putting a button up on your blog.  There are many things that you can do to promote this program.  Do a blog post about the program and make sure that you include a link to your Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Marketing Program sign up page.  Tell people about the products and make sure to include a link to YOUR Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Store.

We can talk about more ways to promote the Above Rubies Studio Affiliate Program next time.  If you have specific questions just let me know so that I can address those for you.
