Life is a Journey

I saw this picture with the caption "There is no right path, just YOUR path" and right now in my life this says so much to me on so many different levels, and I want to share one of those ways with all of you.

For YEARS I have struggled with my weight. I often joke that I am still trying to take of the weight from having my second child, 18 years ago, but I know it is because I love sweets and hate to exercise. As I have gotten older, my metabolism is gone. I felt more tired.

All of that changed on October 24, 2018, when my sister-in-law introduced me to some products that have changed her life. In just 6 weeks, I have lost 8 pounds and 1.5 inches around my hips. I am wearing clothes I have not worn in YEARS!!! I no longer have to hold my breath as I zip up my jeans when they are fresh out of the dryer. While 8 pounds might not seem like a lot to all of you, remember that I am only 4'-10" tall. If I gain a pound I can tell. Weight gain shows up a lot faster on a short girl.

I have done all of this while still eating the food I love . . . pizza, chocolate, burgers, ice cream . . . I am just satisfied after eating a lot less of it than I used to.

So what changed? I started to use the products from https://livepure.com/mosch

I love my morning coffee, so I was really excited to try the Pure Cafe. I have used other drinks that you can buy over the counter to try and suppress your appetite, and they all taste great but I was still hungry, but I was willing to give this a try. I make one of these in the morning instead of my normally mocha coffee drink. I do add a little splash of zero calorie, sugar free flavoring syrup to it just to make it taste a little more like my mochas I used to drink. I usually have a bowl of cereal for breakfast with this, but sometimes I have a bowl of fruit. I have found that I have been fuller longer with this, so instead of being starving by lunch there are some days I forget to eat my lunch until much later in the day. And I noticed I am eating less at lunch. When I get home I am not starving for dinner as soon as I walk in the door. Let's be honest, when we are hungry and walk in the door after a long day at work we make bad eating choices.
The other product I have used is the Metabolic One. I take this about 30 minutes before dinner, since that is my largest meal of the day.
The ONLY other things I have changed in the past 6 weeks is that I have reduced the amount of potatoes I eat . . . coleslaw instead of fries if we go out to eat . . . and I have reduced the amount of bread I eat. I know that if I ate better or added exercise to my daily routine I could drop even more weight, but I also know that long term I am not going to become the kind of girl that works out every day. I also know that I could probably drop more weight if I was eating salads every day, but really who wants to do that! This has helped me to just eat less of the food I love and I can really feel that I am full sooner so then I am satisfied sooner.
